Dr. KeAnthony Darnell Brooks Sr., is a native of Nashville, TN. He is a graduate of the Nashville School of Arts. He matriculated at the American Baptist College, and graduated from New Life Bible College and Seminary, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Dr. Brooks continued his studies by receiving his master’s degree of Religious Education. In 2021, the Lord continued to bless Dr. Brooks as he completed his Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies. Dr. Brooks was called to preach at age sixteen. He was licensed and ordained at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Nashville, TN by Pastor William Harris Sr.,He served in many capacities, most notably as Assistant Pastor of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
Dr. Brooks was called to pastor the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Shelbyville, TN. Under his leadership, the membership increased, and many ministries were developed in an effort to minister to the whole person. Dr. Brooks served faithfully at Mount Zion and God rewarded his faithfulness. During this season of pastoring there, the church grew by leaps and bounds. The sanctuary was revamped and remodeled and a food pantry was created to feed those in need in the community. Dr. Brooks continued to serve the community in which he loved.
In June 2016 Dr. Brooks was called to pastor the Good Hope Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. Later that year, he was appointed Director for the Congress of Christian Education, East Alabama District Progressive Association.
Dr. Brooks is a gifted preacher. His exegetical prowess, homiletic skills, and hermeneutical integrity have afforded him the privilege to preach throughout the United States and for many denominations. It was after much prayer and the willingness to continue to work in God’s Kingdom to continue to grow, he was called to lead in 2018 as the pastor of the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church in Americus, GA. Dr. Brooks continued to serve until God rewarded his faithfulness. Serving this congregation has afforded Dr. Brooks with many additional accomplishments and added growth to not only the church, but within the community the church serves.
Dr. Brooks has a true love for children and the community as a whole. With this mindset, in 2022 he was elected to serve on the Phenix City School Board.
He has a true desire to help the whole man holistically from the cradle to the grave.
Dr. Brooks with much prayer and fasting, accepted the call to Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church in December 2023. The Sandy Grove Baptist Church has grown by leaps and bounds, with numerous people giving their lives to Christ. Many souls have been baptized. The Grove Experience is unlike any other in the world. Dr. Brooks has a vision to expand the Sandy Grove Baptist Church to two new campuses in this region. Many ministries have been created to minister to the whole need of the person.
Dr. Brooks is the eldest of his parents Mrs. Patricia Courts and Mr. Ronald Courts. His two sisters, KeAnna and Crissianna Brooks. He is the proud uncle of Princess Arianna and Prince Elijah. Dr. Brooks is proud of many accomplishments, but the greatest of these is being a husband to Leading Lady Brittney Brooks and father to three sons: Prince Keanthony D. Brooks Jr. “KJ", Prince Kai Lee Brooks, and Prince Kalen Brennon Brooks.
